Pues, yo caché un otro resfriado esta semana. Entonces, la semana no fue mucha divertida pero el fin de semana fue un de 3 días y me siento mucho mejor.

Un día diferente en el semana fue miercoles. En la mañana, los cursos III y IV medio fueron a una exhibición de universidades y carreras. Fue comico cuando fuimos a la sección de escuelas de inglés, y alguna persona preguntó a mi si yo quiero recivir información para aprender inglés ahora porque respondé en ingles que yo estoy bien con inglés. Sorpresa! jaja Pero, alla recivimos cuadernos, boligrafos y un pelotita tambien! La mejor parte jaja. Volvemos a escuela y solamente tuvimos biología.

Well, I caught another cold this week. Thus, the week wasn't much fun but the weekend was 3 days and I feel much better.

One different day in the week was Wednesday. In the morning, the junior and senior class went to a College Fair. It was funny when we went to the seccion of English schools, and some person asked me if I wanted information to recieve information to learn English now but I responded in English that I'm good with English. Suprise! haha But, there we recieved noteboks, pens, and a little ball too! The best part haha. We returned to school and only had biology.

Durante jueves, tuvimos un simulacro para un terremoto. Todas las personas necesitaron ir a un de dos lugares de seguridad. Fue como un semulacro de fuego.

Teniendo clase afuera es muy linda. Cuando el tiempo está bien, muchos de los profesores promiten que estudiamos en el patio despues de los direcciónes. Es mucho mejor de un día en la salla.

During Thursday, we had a earthquake drill. Everyone needed to go to a security zone. It was like a fire drill.

Having class out side is so nice. When the weather is good, many of the profesors permit us to study outside on the patio/lawn after directions. It's much better than a day in the classroom.

En los EEUU, especialmente en nuestra escuela, nosotros damos por sentado que tenemos impresadores y copíadores. Acá no es tan facíl y la mayor parte del tiempo para fotocopías se necesitan a pagar plata.

Sabado y domingo corrí 20 minutos y caminé 20 minutos, en total 4 km. (Voy a trabajar para hacer mejor, corriendo más y caminando menos) Me sentí bien despues. Yo había tenido más energía durante el día pero yo había tenido más sueña en la noche.

In the US, especially at our school, we take for granted that we have printers and copiers. Here it is not so easy and the better part of time for fotocopías you need to pay money.

Saturday and Sunday I ran 20 minutes and walked for 20, in total 4 km. (I am going to work to do better, running more and walking less). I felt better after. I had more energy during the day but was more tired at night.

Sabado, en la tarde, Maka, una amiga, mi madre chilena y yo fuimos de compras! Por la primera vez (que puedo recordar en mi vida), tomé el metro. Las puertas del metro abren y cerran muy rapido! No hay mucho tiempo para entrar y salir. Fuimos a la calle Patronato que tiene muchas tiendas en la calle. Compré antiojos (gafas del sol), dos cinturónes, un jaqueta seca de Chile, y cosas para hacer como maracadores, papel, lapices, y reglas. Muy divertido!

Acá, pienso que veo más caballeros. En el metro, ellos dan las sillas para otros, más viejos, adultos, o mujeres (más para los viejos pero tambien para una cara bonita =P). Es agradable. Todos los personas tienen mucho respecto para los viejos.

Saturday, in the afternoon, Maka, a friend, and my Chilean mom and I went shopping! For the first time (that I can remember in my life), I took the metro. The Metro doors open and closs really fast! There isn't much time to enter and leave. We went to Patronato St. which has a lot of street stores. I bought sunglasses, 2 belts, a cool Chile jacket, and things to do like markers, paper, pencils, and rulers. Lots of fun!

Here, I think that I see more gentlement. In the metro, the guys give there seats for others, elderly, adults, or women (more for the elderly but also for a pretty face =P). It's nice. Everyone has a lot of respect for the elderly.

Siempre pensé de un cinturón en la frase, cinturón de seguridad. Entonces cuando encontré que cinturón es belt, fue extraño para mi. Es una fácil conección pero no la hice. Es dificil para explicar pero pienso que imagino el cinturón como un cinturón de seguridad y me olvidé que es una palabra en una frase.

Otra cosa de palabras. tomar sol = broncear = tan = to drink sun pero es mucho más linda para decir tomar sol, to drink sun. Este frase es más bonita, y acá es más común. Sólo bacán. Qué vas a hacer este fin de semana? Voy a tomar sol =]

I always thought of a cinturón (belt) in the phrase, cinturón de seguridad (belt of security or seatbelt). Then when I found out that cinturón is belt, it was wierd for me. It is an easy connection but I didn't make it. It's difficult to explain but I think that I imagine el cinturón like a seatbelt and I forgot that it is a word in a frase.

Other word things. tomar sol = broncear = tan = to drink sun but its much nicer to say tomar sol, to drink sun. The phrase is prettier and here is more common. Just awesome. What are you going to do this weekend? I'm going to drink some sun. =]
